Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
I really enjoyed my time at the Moreno hotel. Its definately an art-deco style, beautiful, unassuming building (I would have walked right by it and not known it was a hotel). The value was great, we had a superior room and it was huge, it had a couch and bar area with a sink (and asia room's price was far better than any other site). The bathroom was a little small, but very comfortable. The hair dryer in the bathroom was small and underpowered-so those of you who need a good dryer, I would suggest bringing your own. The gym at the hotel is not really worth going to, it had a small treadmil, a stepper and an unsturdy all-in-one weight machine thing that had maybe 10 lbs max that could be used. The jacuzzi outside needed to be filled (wasn't an already filled-ready to use jacuzzi), but this might have been because it was winter or its just the way they do things, because our hotel in Mendoza was the same. But the jacuzzi had a beautiful deck area and they had another lounge/deck area with fireplace that was beautiful!. This hotel will be perfect once they have a restaurant and bar. The staff are wonderful, I can't say enough good things about them. The Moreno hotel is a very personal and private place to stay.

"The Moreno Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was large and just like the picture on the website. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the dinning room was modern and clean. Overall, the hotel was fantastic. We would decently go back again. "

"great hotel, well located and very modern rooms in refurbished building."

"Hi, This is a very stylish hotel, located in the city centre, close to San Telmo.Rooms are very comfortable and very clean. What you can see on the pictures that's exactly what you may expect. Staff is very friendly, very halepful(I will underline this)and speak excellent English. While my stay there the hotel was under hotel-releted cunstruction and I believe when the bar and the restaurant is opened it can be a very good place to stay in especially for a couples. If it comes to the brekafast maybe there was not that much choice but still food included was really fresh and tasty. Hotel is centrally located and you have to remember that San Telmo is not that poshed as Palermo is. At the end I love my stay in Buenos Aires as thanks to Moreno staff it was much easier to find out more useful information about BA. "

"Overall a very good value for money, center located hotel. Some rooms are close to the noisy old-fashioned elevator, the other rooms are quiet. Internet and printer are free for use by guests. electrical sockets are argentinien-type only, so you need a plug converter. Central heating very effective, king size bed and a fair breakfast. "

"If you are all about a nice big stylish hotel room, then this is the place for you. But it does come with some caveats-- the main one being the location. This hotel, while being stylish and beautiful, is in a bit of an undesirable and desolate location. Although safe, the hotel is in an area that is a bit shabby with lots of rundown buildings and graffiti, and very little else going on in the immediate vicinity. I was a bit shocked when we rolled up in our cab and had the "what have I done!" reaction. But once inside the hotel, my mood improved. The interior of the hotel is as stylish as the website depicts and the rooms are enormous... they really are! The hotel staff is great with almost everyone speaking perfect english. I would stay here again, but there are a lot of other great options in BA. The area where the Moreno is located is just starting to gentrify. I might give it a couple of years to see how the area improves. Otherwise, I would rather stay in Palermo or Recoleta."
