I was disappointed to discover on arrival that the hotel was long way from the Adelaide Festival sites, though it advertised itself as being close. The staff were quite friendly, thiough one night porter who said he had been there for many years was the reverse. The hotel, despite its name, has little atmosphere or character. The breakfasts were awful - attracting service was difficult, presentation was a disgrace, and the food very ordinary with stewed help-yourself coffee and little choice. I did not have other meals there.

| "The room is alright for 2 persons, not too big but then, not too small either. The neightborhood is quiet and the location is not too far from CBD. The cafe just next to the reception serves good breakfast. It is also near Central Market and the eateries along Gouger St. Overall better than the apartment I stayed at in Melbourne CBD. Room could have been bigger though, I thought Adelaide's hotels will have bigger areas than Sydney or Melbourne." |
