"Staff at the desk were very helpful and attentive to your needs. Room was a dissapointment, in particular the bath room - up for refurbishment. The location of the hotel is really nice, still walking distance to 'downtown', but remote enough to enjoy the sea view from the terrace and the pool. The staff at the restaurant were unprofessional and poor, the food was of lousy quality and the prices were high - this is a clear 'stay-away' from the restaurant."

"Perfect location, next to the ocean. Good food, nice restaurant with delicious food. Good value. Service was very friendly."

"Great Location for the Harbour etc."

"It takes lots of effort to make a customer satisfied, as picky as we are nowadays… and it only takes minute to have an unhappy one…Having said that, the service can definitely be improved. Just take one example: we were told the breakfast finishes at 10:30, by rushing to the buffet at 10:15, it was closed already. According to the manager at the reception desk “Sorry, there is nothing we can do…” For us, it is hard to understand how difficult it would be to have some toast and coffee for 2 girls… PS. The breakfast buffet is way under the expectation, might as well the worst I have ever had. "

"This is by far the best hotel in Airlie Beach with fantastic ocean views, however it is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. If you are offered a room above the restaurant, move to a different room. You can hear everyone late into the night and when they start setting up early in the morning for breakfast. The hotel is very popular for weddings and there was one everyday that we were there, which also added to the noise with people coming back to their rooms at all hours. Having spent some time in Airlie Beach I think that this is probably the best hotel around, with amazing views and an award winning restaurant. I would go back again but with a good set of earplugs!"

"We paid extra and had a wonderful bay view room which was nicely fitted out and included a Jacuzzi bath from which could you could see the ocean. It is nicely situated and is just a short walk from the centre of Airlie Beach, with lots of restaurants and shops - although there is a hill to go down/up which may make it hard for elderly folks without a car. The hotel restaurant was good, although closed to general diners when the weekly Luau was on. A small shop also acts as a tour agency which is handy. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day."

"my stay at coral sea resort was better than expected as the rooms that over look the sea are perfect with great bathrooms suites and very clean rooms. the location is very good as its on the strip and also right on the pier to catch a boat to the fantastic whitsundays islands. the staff are friendly and helpful and you can be confident to enjoy your stay here."

"We stayed here for 1 night before and after a cruise. The first night was in a garden view room and the second night in the coral sea suite. Both rooms were exceptionally clean, roomy, and quite comfortable. The spa and hammock in the suite were heavenly after using a tiny bathroom on the sailboat cruise."
