| "We just returned from Alice Springs in October of 2007 and we were very pleased with our stay at Heavitree Gap Resort. The rock wallabies, which are just as cute as a button, came down from the hills located directly behind the hotel every late evening and were still there come early morning.
If you are looking for a place that gets you close to nature, definately give Heavitree Gap a try and don't forget to get food for the wallabies at the front desk. They come right up to you and eat right out of your hand. We were fortunate enough to also observe 2 large kangaroos that ventured down the same hills to get a drink of water.
The staff were very pleasant & the room was clean." |

| "I was very disappointed with the hotel room. Bathroom had lots of ants. We repoted it but nothing was done. Also, it is not a convenient location at all although the hotel provides transportation to the city, you need to book ahead of time and you may not be informed about it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was certainly not money's worth. " |

| "We spent 2 nights at the Heavitree Gap in late November and we found it great.
The room was spacious, clean and well equipped and the resort has a supermarket and a little swimming pool.
At sunset you can feed the wallabies right in front of your room!
The hotel is not centrally located but has a shuttle bus that takes you to Alice Springs, which is only 5 minutes far.
Special thanks to the front desk. They were very friendly and helpful, arranging a day tour for us to Uluru and also allowed us to check out earlier on our last day (the reception opens at 7AM but we needed to leave at 6,45 for Adelaide).
We would certainly stay there again next time!!!" |

| "The chalets are american style ground and first floor. The room was very clean and tidy ( the maids do a very good job ). Unfortunatley the rest of the staff were just not as helpful or friendly as they might have been. There are also areas for tents and caravans some had been there for a long time." |

| "Nice rooms, good air conditioning, and clean. Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. Can't say enough about the helpful staff, everyone from the front desk to the kitchen. Other lodgers appeared to be a mix from truck drivers to tours. Convenient to airport. Make sure you get a bag of wallaby feed from the front desk and feed the rock wallabies in the evening. I would stay here again!" |
