"Very good, but the Gum tree rooms were not a studio as expected. Two double beds in a single room, so need to be good friends if you stay as a mixed couple. Otherwise perfect location, recommend eating at the Saloon in town. "

"Pleasant property with nice rooms and good restaurant (very slow service). The outdoor pool is not heated and was very cold in late August. Easy walk to downtown."

"Alice Springs Resort Hotel provided my wife and I with a perfect location for exploring that part of the Northern Territory of Australia. The staff was always helpful and the room was very well-equipped. If I were to mention a slight problem, however, then I would point out that double-bed strandard rooms at the resolrt are on the side of the hotel towards the sometimes-noisy road leading out of Alice Springs. The pool at the resort was clean and refreshing, and there were plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathers. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room, and so we either had to purchase breakfast at the resort of buy supplies in town so that we could eat in our room. All in all, I would most definitely stay at Alice Springs Resort Hotel again, if I were to venture back to that region in the future. "

"We had to book two rooms to accommodate a family of 4. The reception staff were helpful and gave us two adjoining rooms with an interlinking door. The rooms were fine, however the rooms we had faced the main road which was very busy and noisy first thing in the morning. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening which was very disappointing, expensive and the staff were inattentive. It is only a short walk into the town which has a number of places to eat for all budgets. "

"Internet access is a must for communicating to both families and business associates. There was no internet access in the room, and the availability was severely limited and expensive in the 1 central location offered."

"Alice Springs Resort is situated on the banks of the Todd River with its magnificent river red gums. The room is furnished with private bathroom, air-conditioning, mini-bar, television, in-house pay movies, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. It is a convenient pick up point for the many local sightseeing tours available in and around Alice Springs. It is located 2 kms South of City Centre. Just walking 5 minutes we would arrive from the town's bustling cultural, shopping and business centre. Considered with the price and superb location, it values for the money."
