| "Enjoyed my stay at the Chifley's. The staff were very friendly and helpful in everything that they did for me and that made me feel welcome from the moment i arrived. You can't beat having great shopping across the street. I was a little disappointed that i had twin beds instead of a queen, as it had been years since i slept in a single bed but other than that, i enjoyed my stay in the heart of Brisbane. Enjoyed having a soak in the spa pool after a busy day and before packing to leave the next day. " |

| "We stayed at Chifley Brisbane on 14 Feb 08, we were pleasantly pleased with the hotel stuff, room, and location.
Some pointers:
Location: if you plan to drive to the hotel, it's advisable to contact the hotel before your trip for a clear driving direction, as the only lane leading to the hotel is 'concealed' or unnoticeable. We actually circled around the hotel many times over and couldn't find the way in, eventually we had to park at Myer which is just across the hotel (yet we simply can't cross over to the hotel) since there is no parking place anywhere else, and it cost us $19/half hour, just to call the hotel for the right direction.
Location: It's probably one of the best situated hotels, the stretch of shops and food chains are just steps away from the ground level of the hotel. Definitely convenient.
Room facilities: This could be an isolated case, we had the TV broken down and a bit of hassle to get it fixed, however, the hotel staff managed to change a TV set for us. The follow-up effort from the reception was commendable too. We were offered complimentary breakfast due to the inconvenience caused, which we did not consume due to early flight the next morning.
Overall, it's been a very pleasant experience. " |

| "Being first time to visit Brisbane, I found that it was a right place to stay for a traveller who like to eat, read, shop, drink and even non-sleep.
Everything you want were just by your side.
Super location, but the room was quiet indeed as I stay on 10th floor.
Staff were mostly nice and helpful.
Only take less than AU$30 by taxi travel from airport." |

| "This hotel is smack bang in the centre of the CBD. You couldn't get any closer to the shopping or nightlife. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and would not hesitate to stay again." |

| "Delighted with my stay. Only adverse comment was the entrance for the taxis.Cars parked along the road made access difficult. This may be solved when the redevelopment is finished.
I will always stay with you when I am Brisbane. I was a regular at the Chiffley on George but a recent stay with the new owners was so poor I will not return.
Both the company and family business will use you hotel as will my employment organization. I do quite an amount of government work. " |
