Hotel Review posted by BB, Hawaii in October 2004

Though I have family scattered throughout the city (of Brisbane) I wanted to spend the last few days (of my vacation) downtown and the Brisbane Hilton's central location made this possible. I made the reservation over the Internet based on both the Hilton name/reputation and the picture that showed what I thought were balconies, so somewhat disappointed, upon checking in to my room, to find that this was merely a facade; everything else (accommodating staff, particularly the Level I/Queen Street employees, central location, pleasing room layout, and speedy and secured elevators) afforded me the convenience, comfort and security I was seeking smack-dab in the heart of Brissy!

| "I was very disappointed with the hotel as we were supposed to get a deluxe room and we didn't it was old and worn. I was really disappointed as I thought it was far too expensive for what we got!!! I have travelled the world and I have stayed in better pubs in England and Ireland than the "HILTON" Ha! Ha!" |

| "it is conveniently located in the heart of the city. The lobby is fully enclosed (no windows) so it is dark. The hotel is quite nice and the rooms are very average. I recommend The Atrium Restaurant. They have nice dinner buffets. They also have a nice gym, but is also open to the public so it can get quite busy." |
