| "As you are aware, I booked the room over the internet. I then rang the hotel explaining that we were apart of the wedding party and would like an early check in. I was told that I would have to ring on the day and check if that was possible. I did that and was told it was not something that could be promised. I was also told by your staff that the wedding party was on the first floor, check-in is at 1pm and that I could come in at 1200hrs and wait.
My girlfrient and I thought we will arrrive a little early, have a couple of cocktails, rest up and take our time in getting ready for the wedding at 3pm.
Well arrived at the hotle and 1250hrs and was told that the rrom was not ready and would not be ready for a further 30mins. I mean come on we were attending a wedding. I don't think it would have been hard to make sure the rooms were ready earlier that that. We did not get to our room until 1345hrs. Not acceptable." |

| "We found this to be a very nice friendly hotel with very helpful staff.
We would consider staying again but would probably ask for a room away from Alice Street as it was noisey at night.

| "1)It is not a 15 minute walk from the hotel to the Conference Centre on the SouthBank. Allow at least 30 minutes for the walk!!
2)It should be much clearer that the Rates quoted via Internet do not include full breakfast.
3)Dont rely on the hotel if you need a special plug to be able to use your laptop. Bring one from your home country for Australia's system.
4)The rooms were not cleaned properly. Newspapers were left lying on the floor or in the dustbin. " |
