| "The internet access was the most expensive I have ever heard of or experienced. You would expect free internett in a hotel in this class. Additionally internet was slow so you actually payed a high price for nothing!
The people in the reception lacked knowledge and service-mindness, I even got wrong information (this was not true fpr all though!!). The boys at the door / cars/suitcases though were very helpful and service minded!" |

| "Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful and upon arrival we were given a room upgrade to a suite!
Location is perfect for exploring the city or taking advantage of the southbank park area and riverbank walk.
Many thanks to previous contributor who suggested the day pass on the city cat ferry. We used this a lot and it was a great way to see the city by water and also for going straight into the main shopping district just across the water from the hotel.
Would definitely use this hotel any time we are in Brisbane. " |

| "The sauna was great, very hot, although i would have liked a pool too. :)
I had a second floor room that was very nice indeed, next time though i would have at least 4th floor to open the window without being at ground level.
The staff are excellent and most helpful. And it was walking distance from Westend and the river, both nice places. I really liked Tequilas at Rumpus Room in Westend, and seeing The Briscoe Sisters playing under a Frangipani tree outside RedKat Records, both a short walk away into the more bohemian arty area. The internet cost too much, and was not very competitive, so i barely used it. I think the internet now should not cost so much, it was the most over priced aspect of the whole stay. Quite different from the reasonable mini-bar prices.
Overall the stay was exellent and the above criticism is really minor.
THANKS and i would definitely consider staying again. :)

| "My wife and i found this hotel to meet our requierments to the letter. Our suite over looked South Bank, with a "wrap-round" balcony, providing us with great views of the city at night.
The "All-in" buffet breakfast was a great start to each day.
The one cause for concern was the lack of House-service on one day, with the cart being left in the corridor over-night.
Apart from this one item, this hotel is a great place to stay, good value for money.

| "Stayed for 2 nights in a standard room which was fine but no view, went on a trip and returned for another 3 nights upgraded our room which was worth the extra money as we were overlooking the river and the room was much bigger (2 double beds). Hotel happy to keep our bags whilst we went on a 2 night trip. Very helpful reception and concierge. Enjoyed our stay." |

| "Excellent location for the South bank and City cat. Getting there by car isn't so easy though. Travelling from Sydney South Bank is signed from the Pacific highway, so it's not too bad. But coming from the north you have to keep following Route 3 through town until after you have crossed the river, then watch for the Stanley St exit. Worth the extra for the superior Queen room with the river and CBD view - magnificent, especially at night." |
