Grand quality property, offering exactly what you would expect from this brand.
Tasteful and well presented. Open-plan lobby comprising conventional reception, traditional bar with piano and extensive informal restaurant. Smart formal dining room has open kitchen and bar. Large pub-style cafe/bar. Rooms refurbished 2002.

| "The airconditioning in the room i stayed in and many of the rooms i have stayed in in this hotel over the years is non-existent which made it hard to sleep at night.
You might find that a problem over summer in Brisbane. Reception were inefficient and arrogant.
Breakfast was very, very basic for a five star hotel...perhaps currently a four star rating would be alot more realistic these days.
The gym on the top floor is quite good. " |
