| "It was ok, considering that the hotel was under renovation during our stay. The breakfast was too expensive and should be included in the room rent. In the US we get better value for money. " |

| "I have booked more than two thousand nights at this hotel between 1979-1982 and it was OK but nothing has been done since then to rooms or comfort, it is now the worst I have ever stayed in. Jack Baker" |

| "Rooms are in need of renovation but are very clean and fairly spacious. Shower is a trickle. We were told renovations will start next week.
We were quite happy with the accommodation, breakfast but may not suit everyone because of its proximity to the city and location in a very quiet, elevated position." |

| "Check in was time consuming (we arrived late and the hotel was informed)and the person did not really appear to know what he was doing.
The room was tidy but not particularly clean and we did not have towels and had to request them.
The television did not work and no other rooms were available.
Apart from the location, which was excellent l would not stay at the hotel again.
It was also difficult to get a taxi ordered.
Regards Sandra Smith" |

| "The male receptionist is poor in attitude (especially to non-English speaking people). Surprise to see that there are endless tourist groups from China.
No bell boy (reception take the place) if you have luggages to be taken care of especially before checking in . However, the male receptionist always act to be busy watching the pc and leave your belongings along the way . If you concern the matter, worse attitude will be to you.
To be honest, other workers are excellent. It seems this male gentleman! is quite exceptional and outstamding.
If he is still there, no way to recommended." |

| "most probably wouldn't stay here again - a bit out of the way and serious hills to walk to town (although most of Brisbane is hilly). adequate room and to be fair they are in the middle of revamping the hotel so once this is done would be a lot better - if you are thinking of booking suggest you try and get photos to see how far they have got with the revamp. staff all friendly, and nice restaurant/bar. internet access is available on their own computers in foyer Aus$2 for 20 minutes - they are looking at access to wireless broadband in revamp." |
