Works being carried out nearby did not make for a very nice veiw, not that this is within your control. But it possibly would have been better to be facing a different direction (not that I know if there even is a different direction).
The room was dirty, and the utensils were very dirty. The main bedroom was very hot with no airconditioning in it.The television would only give us 3 channels and 1 of them was the front door.On opening the door from our room to the hallway there was a sewage smell blowing straight in from somewhere. The way that car park (2 I think) is laid out when we got a car park we couldn't get out because of car parks blocking off the exits.

| "This establishment trades on its location which is convenient for the city, restaurants and cafes.
However there is a feeling that one gets staying there that the establishment can fill the rooms and guests are fortunate to be there, rather than honored. An example of this is the warning that if their sensitive fire alarms are triggered by the normal use of a toaster the occupants will be charged a $900 payment to the fire brigade. It was recommended that I did not use the toaster and that I was extra careful when cooking anything. The apartment is advertised as self catering. There were potential extra charges for a host of other things such as forgetting the code for entrance when the reception is no longer staffed. Not that this is unreasonable but that the tone of the warning is demeaning. The establishment is not super cheap and a 24 hour reception should be provided. Other examples of poor service include poor room cleaning, and replacement of toiletries, as the cleaners rush into the room during the morning and spend less than 5 minutes in the room. " |

| "Room size good but unstylish ,needing updating and painting in comparison to other accomodation in this star rating. The ugly veiw of carpark ,air conditioners ,and building site needs to be blocked off with lattice , or similar ,as it makes the room less attractive.Woken early by fighting workmen on building site. But lovely ,helpful staff -on the phone and in person ,a real asset.Despite the good location probably won't stay again ,until I've tried other accomodation in Brisbane CBD." |

| "The location is good, close to the city, shopping centre and shops. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
However, there was a construction site nearby while we were staying, so it's a little bit noisy and dusty." |
