We were pleased with the room in this hotel, but thought the hotel was a bit too far out of the centre of Cairns, too far to walk in the heat. The bonus was the view from our balcony, beautiful.
We ate in the hotel on the first night we were there and that was good and very popular.
The biggest problem we had was we couldn't get a drink in the bar after at the latest 10.00pm
Pool looked ok but we didn't use it.

| "We had a room facing the water. It was very, very nice. The last night we got a bottle of wine and take away and sat on the balcony to relax and enjoy. We also did some laundry in the laundry facility. That was a great asset for us. People very friendly. The only thing we would have liked is more choices on food other than the buffet.

| "Whilst the service and accommodation was good the location was a little out of the way. About an hours walk to the centre of Cairns although local transport is availalbe buses only run about every half hour on weekdays and less on weekends. However, if you take the extremely reasonable cost of the accommodation into account it almost allows you to hire a car and have accommodation included for the cost of four star accommodation." |
