| "Service was excellent. Unfortunatelly, we were transfered to Thala due to overbooking situation, which we appreciated as a solution. Kewarra is very good value. Only one thing is that we had to fight with mosquitos due to the location.....although this could not be avoided being in that environemnt." |

| "The most fabulous of the 19 hotels we try in our tour in Australia, and not the most expensive. deeply integrated in the rain forest, bungalows are of great standing and restaurant perfect. For us, it's a ***** hotel." |

| "This resort is right on the beach, with beautiful grounds, secluded rooms, and a fantastic staff. It is perfect if you want a relaxing, secluded resort. It is somewhat off the beaten path, so I would probably recommend renting a car, although there is a bus (with rather patchy service) nearby. The restaurant is rather pricey, but some local pizzarias do deliver. The concierge is very helpful and knowledgeable in setting up tours (all of which do pick up at this hotel), and the rest of the staff was very friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort. We will definitely stay here again." |

| "The brochure elaborates the resort too much. Cairns is built on a Mangrove swamp and the sea, all year round , for the first mile or so is muddy. The beach is brown sand. We were there during a rainy period and there is nothing to do at the resort. They do provide transport into Cairns and Palm Grove however at very inconvenient times to make sure that you are back for meals. The meals are good however expensive; $AUS25 for a buffet breakfast was not worth it. During our stay my daughters sky dive was cancelled due to bad weather however the resort, although in no way to blame could not come up with other suggestions to do than walk round Cairns that we had done the previous day. They did suggest a walk round the resort gardens with their gardener, also at a cost of $AUS25! I would not recommend this resort, nor would I return" |

| "Great resort,
We stayed at Kewarra Beach after a live-aboard to relax. The drop-off by the diving company was cancelled. Kewarra arranged a pick-up very quickly (cairns - Kewarra = approx. 20 mins). The welcome with a cocktail including a tour of the resort was very good. The rooms are large and everything required is available. The location is superb; we stayed at a cabin overlooking the lagoon, were you get the feeling that you're the only staying in the resort. Together with the two beautiful swimming pools and the beach, dining in the open air in a rainforest and the nature, kewarra is something else which I recommend everyone to try.
Service and kindness of the staff is another feature that makes a stay at Kewarra worthwile.
Thanks!" |

| "Fantastic - What a place to stay. We had one of the mouds overlooking the lake and it was just great. The service and restaurant were also of the highest standard. No hesitation in recommending this hotel." |

| "Extremely disappointed in accommodation and service. Staff was very slow in service in restaurant and uncaring overall. Besides many small details that were forgotten-no coffee cups,no mozzie incense for the burner,no sugar;the big items were - TV did not work, room unclean, ran out of hot water in the shower after 10 mins. When we brought it to the attention of staff-they said you had to wait 20 min between showers. They moved us to a different bungalow to a better TV. However, we can say this in conclusion - it has all the attributes of a 4-5 star resort but sadly can only be rated 2-3 star at a 5 star price. It is centered in a rainforest garden with a private beach and secluded pools. We travel extensively and have stayed in a variety of accommodation. We will not come back to Kewarra." |
