| "The room was adequate and clean. However, having stayed at other 4-5 star resorts in Australia the furnishings appeared old and dated. The one thing that truly lifts this hotel out and above others is the service. The staff though young bent over backwards to assist a lone female traveler from fixing a broken scuba fin to dinner reservations. I would stay here again for no other reason than I felt pampered and catered to not only without an attitude but with cheerful enthusiasm" |

| "I was disappointed that there was no restaurant on-site for us to eat at. When it was discovered that the safe key for our room was missing, we were quickly upgraded to another room...which we were happy about. The front desk was not that helpful. The night we were checking out, we requested from the front desk attendant to call for a taxi at a certain time, only to find out from the next (staff) shift that there was no record of him calling. But the location is excellent, very close to the pier, night market, mall, and restaurants." |

| "Arrived an hour after check in time and room had not been cleaned from previous guest. Housekeeper found this hard to believe and asked several times if we were sure it was in this state when we arrrived. Quite rude and unapologetic for the inconvenience. Room was very small, dirty (even after cleaned by housekeeping) staff not very friendly. Location good for commuting to and from the reef and also close to restaurants. There are far better places with better value for money than this - I would never stay here again." |
