| "The Hotel is comfortable. The personal is nice and collaborative. A bit far from the center to walk there even if we did in half hour." |

| "We only stayed here for 1 night, but wanted to stay longer. The hotel was clean, very friendly and close to the centre. It was near the sea front. I will stay here on my next visit. The pool was excellent." |

| "Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as our first stopping point on a 4 week break runnig down the East coast of Australia. The hotel staff could not do enough to make you feel more welcome. Excellent for all age groups and very helpful with excursions. Very clean. Would definately stay here again - top marks to the staff running this hotel. Thanks for starting our holiday off with a good start." |

| "Fantastic place to stay. We found the staff so helpful. We felt completely at home. We even got butter for breakfast from the owners kitchen when we said we didn't like margarine on our toast. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend Reef Palms to anybody who was looking for somewhere to stay in Cairns." |

| "I wasn't expecting too much from this motel when I first chose it, because I have read some reviews about it. Its price is reasonable, however, it takes a fair bit of walk to the city area. If you take a taxi, it would cost you about $8 from the night market to the motel depend on the time you travel.
One thing I wasn't happy about with this motel is that they did not tell us they charge $2.00 per night for using the safe. (well, they said it was on our companion, I wasn't sure what that mean, but we were charged for 4 nights when we only hold the key for 3 nights, I didn't realise until I left.)
Overall, the price of this motel is medium, the room is quite big and clean (but some ants present) They tidy the room for you if you are not there, but they are not responsible for throwing the rubbish away. and they don't have FOX TV.
If I go to Cairns next time, I will consider another hotel." |

| "We stayed there 1 night in September 2007.
The place looks great but the service is not very friendly. We arrived early (which was notified to them) and although we could obviously see some empty rooms, did not get access till noon. Furthermore, the place is FAR from Cairns Centre.....minimum walk 30 minutes." |

| "Unfortunately the hotel was between owners so a few things were broken or not working. The spa in the pool area was not working, our shower was dripping and although the hotel is classed as self-contained, our kitchen only contained the absolute extreme bare minimum in utensils, crockery etc. The reception for the in-house movie channel is very fussy and has lines running down the screen the whole time. Apart from these things, staff were friendly and is a nice stroll into town. The decor is outdated and the room layout could be improved alot - ie, move the bed into the lounge area away from the noise of the front door and hallway. Hopefully new owners take this onboard. Would probably not stay here again. " |
