| "The location of the hotel is ideal as it is centrally located and access to shopping malls and restaurants are within walking distance. To travel to places of interest within city center is also convenient.
What I did not like about the hotel:-
1. The water boiler coil is already rusty and yet it
is still been used.
2. Went to the gym for a 30 minutes walk on the
treadmill mill and was disturbed by a man
bringing in his boy who is obviously under 16.
There is no attendant mending the gym area. Thus,
anybody who are from outside has access to the
gym and pool area.
On the whole me and my daughter had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and we managed to see visit most of the places we wanted to go this trip.
Our next trip to Canberra will be the snowy mountain-any recommendation for a holiday package." |

| "We spent 1 night at the crown plaza; its a typical city hotel - huge, lot's of rooms, very well infrastructure. crown plaza has a name and the name fulfilled everything we have expected; we stood at a superior room, which was very spacy, hat a flat screen tv, kingsize bed, spacy bathroom and with modern furniture.
Nothing more to add... we wood stay again here; perfect location; in walking distance to central city sights and shopping area. " |

| "Great location and awesome customer service. A bit pricey, but the service warrants the extra amount." |

| "Easy walking distance to the nearby 'restaurant' area in downtown Canberra. Lots of eating options available in that area.
Close to (walkable -or a short taxi ride) to the National war Memorial Museum.
The swimming pool is a good size, the gym and sauna are first rate.
Rooms not open to much road noise -expect a sound sleep.

| "The Crowne Plaza, Canberra, would have received a better review if the pool was operational during our stay. We only stayed three nights and the pool was shut down for the three days that coincided with our stay there. Still at least management understood our frustration and gave us both a free breakfast.
All things considered it is probably the best hotel in Canberra and the location is excellent - right in the heart of Canberra. We got a very good deal through AsiaRooms.com and I would encourage prospective guests to surf the net and find a good deal as it can get quite pricey for the budget conscious." |

| "The hotel is great, and good well-priced hotels in Canberra are hard to find. Excellent service from the Concierge who pointed us to a great restaurant in walking distance and gave travel directions the following day. Rooms are large, we had a city view which was pleasant. Restaurant looked great, however we didn't actually eat there. Pool was busy but OK, Gym was good but under renovation. Overall we had a great stay." |

| "We enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza in Canberra. We have stayed at the hotel on a previous occasion and the service, cleanliness and overall approach to providing a pleasant experience is to be commended. However, a recent decision to charge a $15 overnight parking fee was disappointing, as is the annoyance caused when only one of the three lifts accesses the car park." |
