"We stayed here on 29Sep. Hotel is well located, w/in walking dist fr Woolsworth that opens till 12mn. Rm is large & comfortable. Toilet is clean. Kettle is in gd condition so we had hot drinks. The lady @ the reception who checked us in was v abrupt & impatient. We asked if rms were available as we plan 2 stay another nite. She ans that hotel is full. We asked if Holiday Inn Esplanade, under the same grp, has rms, she told us 2 walk over & check it ourselves. We asked her where's the nearest tourist info bureau, she said she don't know. The next morning we pose the same q 2 another man @ the reception, rms were available but more expensive than what we paid with Asiarooms so we decided not 2 stay. He also allowed us late check out @12noon. When we returned 2 collect our luggage in the evening, another lady @ the counter was so kind 2 tell us where we can freshen up b4 leaving for the airport. Now, this is what we call service. And yes, despite our bad encounter, we will stay here again, just make sure we avoid being served by that grouchy lady. :-)"

"I stayed in the hotel for three days and found it good value for money.As Holiday Inn two hotels side by side you get to use the facilities for both hotels. One has a much better swimming pool than the other. Staff were friendly and efficient and the location is good. A five minute walk to the centre of town. The only problem was the noisy building under construction next door. I would stay there again."

"A comfortable hotel, but looking a bit tried in the common areas. Food is good, service fine. Not a bad place to stay for one or two nights."
