| "The hotel's facilities are excellent and the pool is lovely and the waiting staff are harassed but decent. The problem is the front desk - they are rather stuck-up and poe-faced. They find it difficult to be flexible - unlike the Holiday Inn where the facilities are good but not excellent but the staff are fantastic. " |

| "As it is not in the centre of Darwin, but has gardens leading on to Mindil Beach, SkyCity has a very tropical feel. It was perfect for a morning stroll along the beach before enjoying the excellent buffet breakfast.
The rooms are fairly spacious and beds very comfortable. The swimming pool and surrounds are a very pleasant place to spend part of the day. The gym is well equipped.
Would definitely stay here again if visiting Darwin.

| "We stayed in a suite and found the suite to have every need catered for. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff are delightful and courteous and accomodate your requests in a timely and efficient manner. For location, you could not ask for a beetr view and the hotel is only a few minutes drive from the city or a short walk. Mindil Beach Markets are located right next door for a look at local arts & crafts, local music and a great feed while watching the sunset on the beach. (dry season only) Overall Sky City could not be faulted and if you enjoy a flutter or two - the casino caters for smokers and non smokers with separate gaming rooms." |

| "Although we thought we had reserved one of the new rooms and were allocated to one of the older rooms, the hotel was great.
The pool area is just magic - the pool just blends into the azure blue sea off Mindil Beach. Position perfect to stroll to the botanic gardens and enjoy the Mindil Beach markets, and of course, the magic sunsets over the sea horizon through silohetted palm trees.
Didn't even bother to go to the Casino next door! Smorgasbord meals by the pool fantastic value. Definitely will stay here when next we visit Darwin and recommend to our friends!" |

| "We were greeted by Wendy who was friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The girls at reception and the concierge could not do enough to make us welcome. They recommended places to visit and to eat which were excellent. The rooms were great and the houskeeping people were terrific. The hotel facilities were great particularly the pool area. We had a great holiday and would definately go back to Skycity." |

Disappointing not to know that the pool area was underconstruction. When complete it will be fabulous.
One comment. They should try and make up the room before 2.00pm. " |
