In a prime location, just several minutes from the CBD, SKYCITY Darwin is set on 18 acres of lush tropical gardens and is renowned as a dining and entertainment venue of immeasurable quality, whilst offering contemporary and comfortable accommodation. All rooms are tastefully decorated and fitted with luxury items such as plush towels, televisions, DVD players, beauty products, a well-stocked mini bar and a private balcony or terraced area. Complimentary valet parking and guest laundry is also available.
For our business travellers the rooms feature complimentary ADSL internet connection, a full size desk and power points as desk level. A business centre is located within the lobby and full conference, meeting and outside function facilities are available making this the ideal place to stay.
Leisure choices at SKYCITY Darwin include a putting green, fitness centre, lagoon style infinity edge pool and tennis courts, with a golf course and walking/jogging tracks along side the property.
24 hour Reception, Concierge, In Room dining and a Private Hire car service is also available. Should you wish to arrange transfers from the airport please contact us directly.
During the months of October to May, Darwin experiences extremely high humidity. As such our balcony doors will be closed however should you require your balcony doors to be open during your stay, please enquire on arrival and we will be happy to assist.
As part of SKYCITY Darwin ongoing refurbishment programme, we will commence enhancements to a selection of our rooms. The refurbishments will start on 5th January 2009 and we anticipate completion by 5th April 2009. During this time we do anticipate some noise, which will affect the hotel during the business hours of 10.00am and 4.30pm. Please note that there will be no work taking place on Saturdays and Sundays.
In recognition of the enhancements we have already made to the property, SKYCITY Darwin was excited to win 4 awards at the Northern Territory Brolga Awards in 2008, these awards included Best Luxury Accommodation, and Best Restaurant and Catering. We are also the proud winners of the 2008, 2007 & 2006 Australian Hotels Association Award for Best Superior Accommodation.
