It's within walking distance to Mitchell St, the Esplanade, and shops along Kunckey St. Across the street is a supermarket which opens till late nite. Check-in at night, it seems crowded at every corner of the hotel, carpark lots' almost full. Greeted by friendly reception staff. Room is fairly spacious, with big bathroom (no bath-tub though), and adequate room facilities. Check-out time at 10am seems too early. The room price is quite competitive as compared to other hotels around Darwin, considering the room's size and some facilities available. Overall a pleasant stay.

| "Having booked our room 4 months prior to our arrival and informing them of our late check in we arrived at 3.30 AM from Singapore to be told there was no room ready for us and we would have to sit down in the lobby while they got a cleaner to make up a room. About an hour later we were given the room key. Later in the morning after a complaint to the assistant manager ( who already knew what had transpired ) we were offered a free nights accomodation at a future. We have accepted this and have a letter from the hotel confirming this. Apart from obvious staffing issues it is a good place to stay and handy to everything in Darwin." |

| "We stayed there 2 nights in September 2007.
This place is way too expensive for the service offered; very sad looking "luxury" rooms with old fashioned standard furniture, no views, no balcony. " |
