This resort is really perrrfect its beautiful, educational, relaxing and there is plenty to do and plenty to see. The wildlife is just amazing for a European visitor, I cant wait to go back sometime - Sally Hendry

| "We all enjoyed our stay at the resort, althought the buffet restaurant food was a bit disappointing, the pool was perfect for our 5 year old and so warm ! The rangers were excellent and looked after the children when doing a variety of activities. The shop is limited and fairly pricey so take some basics with you. But over all we would recommend it." |

| "Felt that the service from day one was terrible. I understand that the staff there are teenagers, however they are there to provide a service and should be educated about the facilities of the island and be trained to a higher standard. The senior staff also were not up to scratch. I do not believe that Kingfisher resort should be classed as a 4 star resort it would be a very lucky 3 star in our book. Food was disappointing and in all was a very disappointing stay. We left a night early and stayed at the YHA in Hervey Bay and thought the room, service and overall stay was a class above Kingfisher Resort. I will not be reccommending it in the future in fact I feel I will find myself discouraging people from staying there if visiting Fraser Island." |

| "the king fisher bay resort is a fantastic place to stay. hotel is great, the rooms are clean and can get one looking out onto the lake which is a nice view to wake-up to. choice of 2 big swimming pools and staff and friendly are helpful. are sure to enjoy your stay here as the island is also amazing." |
