| "We stayed in hinterland and ocean view rooms on 2 occasions recently. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly, very good service. Lobby great, rooms large. As other visitors have commented, the bathrooms need a little updating.
The pool areas are fantastic although we found the pools themselves a little cold.
Location is excellent, not in the heart of Surfer's (no bad thing) but betwen central Surfers and the more upmarket Tedder Avenue (15 min walk to each).
Ocean view rooms gave very good views of the river and Pacific. Even the Hinterland rooms had good views: river, beautiful mountains and Surfers at night and even the sunset!
We would recommed this hotel to anyone staying at Surfer's Paradise, especially those with young children. We were very happy with our choice." |

| "We enjoyed the pools so much we never went to the beach!
Buffet was really nice. We are usually budget travellers so this was a splurge. We really enjoyed staying here and found it good value if you make good use of the pools. Hope to come again soon!" |
