| "Oaks Calypso provided the most competitive rate in Cooloongatta given its beach-front location and proximity to great restaurants for dinner.
For those wanting to stay in, there were suficient kitchen facilities, and the room sizes were perfect for what we needed - a weekend away!" |

| "The room over all was ok. The bathroom in the main room needs to be looked at as people in two different hotels can see right in and there is nothing to cover it. Also on the top balcony there should be a table and more then two chairs as this is the one near the living area its the one to be mostly used by everyone. The pool was really good however it would have been nicer if it was heated, the spa also had some od looking bubble things in them which gives the look that it had not been cleaned in a while" |

| "when we arrived they were overbooked so they upgraded us for free to a suite- the suite was absolutely wonderful ! it was a relaxing stay especially with the facilities that the hotel had. The pool and spa were very nice- pool was warm enough.

| "The accommodations were a great value. The location was exceptional with great views and so close to one of the best beaches I have seen. I would definitely recommend the Oaks Calypso Plaza Resort and when returning to this area this is where we will stay. We enjoyed Coolangatta and the area much better then staying in Surfers Paradise. " |
