| "Desk not manned 24 hrs is a pain
Wanted to change rooms, paid $138.00 to have room cleaned we moved from
Room we moved to and stayed in for 6 nights (stayed in 1st room 1 night as desk attendant not available when we arrive (after 8pm) so could not fix at check in
Room we moved to was not cleaned during our entire stay - when asked told as we did not stay 7 nights in that room they did not have to clean it.
So we paid $138.00 extra to get room cleaned we moved from but no cleaning for the room we stayed in.
Very poor - I would not live in my house at home for 6 nights and not clean!!
After having to pay a surcharge to stay over easter the extra was a rip off.
A little dissapointed that the rooms have no tropical feel about them - apart from the view the room is the same as Melbourne - not what we expected.

| "Can't fault location at all. Perfectly situated on top of Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre. Coles Supermarket downstairs and countless breakfast places. This made it most convenient for my family with 2 young kids of 4yrs & 2yrs.
Also, short walking distance to Cavill Ave. which provided some more abundance of eateries and shopping. Only places maybe in whole Gold Coast that don't close at 5pm!
Minor disappointment is that apartment was a lot smaller then it looks on website. Not small to the point of minuscule... sufficient space...although bathroom was a bit cramp even for my small family. But just from the pictures on website, it looks at least 50% bigger then it really is." |

| "We loved our stay at the chevron Towers, we were on the 30th floor and the views were amazing, we had views from almost every room. The pools were great an we even used the Gym. The only downside would be that you have to wait a long time fo the lifts. we had a great stay.

| "Generally a pleasant stay. Location is great. Parking is convenient. The outdoor "beach" pool and the heated indoor pools were nice.
Service was satisfactory, except that housekeeping service was not available at night - making it quite difficult to get the extra towel or tissue roll when we are back from the theme parks. The towels were not changed during our 8-day long stay. And the toilet paper was "rationed" at only 3 rolls to last a family of 4 for 8 days." |

| "The Chevron Renaissance was a nice serviced apartment with a 3 large swimming pools and good facilities all round. If arriving after hours, it can be difficult to access your room as they place one security guard on duty to help. The rooms are not cleaned daily. All facilities are used by 3 very large towers, which is made up of residents and tourists, which means the pools / gyms etc are often very, very busy.
I was on the 7th floor and could hear all the noise from Cavill ave below, which was not ideal.
Conveniently located and only a short 2 min walk to a beautiful beach." |

| "- The staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful.
- The room (2 bed, 1 bath) was good, although a touch on the small side.
- Depending on the tower you stay, there is still a walk to the main shopping centre and supermarket.
- The carpet in the room was badly stained, although it was cleaned within 24 hours, many of the stains remained.
- The outside pool was very cold despite December weather.
- As a parent of two young children, I would probably recommend a more child orientated resort. " |
