| "Stayed in a lovely twin room with a fantastic sea view - definately worth the extra money for the view. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Just a little odd that the wardrobes are located in the bathroom which has a large dressing area.
It's a very good hotel with excellent facilities and location - perhaps why Leo Sayer also decided to stay there during our visit to Hamilton Island. However it is an extremely noisy hotel. There is a high speed glass elevator which I expect can be heard in most rooms, the birdlife on the island (hundreds of cockatoo's) also make it extremely difficult to get some peace in this resort. I would stay here again but ask for a room away from the elevator and take some earplugs!" |

| "We stayed here as part of our honeymoon for 3 nights. The first room they put us in was terrible. It was more what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. Dirty, dusty and rusty. Old fashioned like a large family room, and very noisy next to the lifts. We complained as they were aware we were on our honeymoon as they left us a congratulations card. We were moved the next day to another room within the hotel and what a difference! It was like staying somewhere comletely different, the room was newly referbished and very nice, although still alot of noise from the lift. We were very disapointed that they thought it would be ok to put us in that first room when they knew we were on our honeymoon. I would not recommend staying here as there was such a difference in the rooms that you would not know which type you were getting until you arrived. Staff were not friendly or helpful when I complained." |

| "Our room was absolutely beautiful, but a bit dated. The service from the staff was somewhat indifferent, and they did not follow through on what they said they would do.
Re the buffet breakfast, anything cooked - except for the custom omelets - was very greasy. The fruit, pastries, etc. were fine. They hotel was a little shabby in places, with some updates it would be much nicer." |

| "This was one of my favourite hotels on our tour of Australia. The room was huge with 2 double beds and the balcony had the most amazing view. The bathroom was average with a good shower.
Our flight arrived early morning and check in isnt until 2pm, however the room was ready by 12pm so we didnt have to wait around too long.
The staff were friendly and the service was good. There was some clothing left in the wardrobes from previous occupants and our wine glasses were put away without being cleaned.
The pool area was good, the poolside restaurant was excellent giving huge portion sizes. The bar had entertainment on each night and was a nice place to relax. I would definately go back." |
