| "We had the most beautiful view from our room. I believe most rooms have the same view. My husband complained about bug bites, possibly from the bed. The staff took this very seriously and came to inspect and immediately moved us to a new room." |

| "Me and my girlfriend stayed at the "Coral Sea" view room, on level 15. The view is more than perfect. We woke up to the view of Coral Sea...! The bedroom is spacious. The bathroom is huge, one bath tub, two sinks, a little room for toilet, two big mirrors, everything is oversized..! Convenient location - 5 or 10 minutes walk to Marina (where all the beach / reef cruises, jet skis, sailing, restaurants, cafes are) - 5 mins drive from the airport - 2 mins walk to Tours and Attractions Desk (where you can book all your cruises, water activities) - 3 mins walk to Catseye Beach. It was romantic, it was unbelievably perfect!" |

| "Hamilton Island was my first stop on a 16-day Australian holiday, and was the perfect place to unwind from my very stressful job, recover from jet lag (I live in San Francisco), and gear up for an adventurous holiday.
I enjoyed staying at the Reef View hotel. I had a Coral Sea View room, on the corner of the 14th floor. The view from my room was spectacular, and I thoroughly enjoyed waking up to sunrise over the surrounding hills, islands, and water each morning, as well as sunsets in the evening. The room itself was very spacious, and although somewhat minimalist in decor, it was quite comfortable. The bathroom was also large, and contained both a shower stall and separate tub. The only drawback was the mold on the shower tiles. I read about this in other posts before I arrived at the hotel, and unfortunately my shower also had this problem.
The weather was overcast and cool 2 of the 3 days I was there. On these days, I hiked, sea kayaked, got a fantastic massage, and simply relaxed with a book. On the sunny day, I did a half day trip to Whitehaven Beach -- absolutely gorgeous and a must do.
Hamilton Island is a lovely place, and given the time of the year, pleasantly quiet. I would go back.

| "Our honeymoon stay at the Reef View, Hamilton Islands, was amazing! :) the service was great and staff was friendly! We were upgraded to a sea-view on request and the view was amazing. The tour desk was absolutely helpful because we had no idea what was there to do ard the islands! Great place to stay, esp for couples who want to get away. BUT, a beautiful view comes with a price!! Thanks Reef View for the memorable stay! " |

| "Stayed in a lovely twin room with a fantastic sea view - definately worth the extra money for the view. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Just a little odd that the wardrobes are located in the bathroom which has a large dressing area.
It's a very good hotel with excellent facilities and location - perhaps why Leo Sayer also decided to stay there during our visit to Hamilton Island. However it is an extremely noisy hotel. There is a high speed glass elevator which I expect can be heard in most rooms, the birdlife on the island (hundreds of cockatoo's) also make it extremely difficult to get some peace in this resort. I would stay here again but ask for a room away from the elevator and take some earplugs!" |
