From Melbourne’s International Airport:A taxi from the airport costs about $60.Arriving to Base St Kilda from Melbourne’s international Airport is really easy. We have a deal with a bus company that will drop you off directly to our door for just $18 per person or $30 for 2! The bus is called the Frankston & Peninsular Shuttle Service. The bus departs from the International Terminal Look for a green & white Minibus outside the International Terminal. The bus runs as regular intervals from 6:15am to 20:30 Monday to Friday and 7:05 and 19:00 on Saturday and Sundays. If you are arriving outside these times then I would suggest catching the Sky Bus. This bus runs 24 hours a day and will drop you off at Southern Cross Station. From Southern Cross Station You can catch the number 96 St Kilda Beach Tram (runs from 5:30am). The journey will take about 15 minutes. You then need to get off at Luna park/Macdonalds stop and walk away from the direction of the beach down Carlisle Street. After a minute of two you will see our building (big red glass panels)on your right side. It you arrive before the tram starts then catch a taxi, it will cost you around $15.From Avalon Airport Catch the Sunbus (there is one bus that meets every flight). The cost is $16. The bus will drop you off at Southern Cross Station. Follow directions as above from the Station. We look forward to welcoming you to base St Kilda!
