| "The location of the hotel is excellent - near all the nightlife of S Yarra and very close to the Botanical gardens. Easy access to the number 8 tram to the city, and walking distance to several cafes for breakfast and lunch and easy walking to the trams to St Kilda. The room was smaller and not as 'executive' as we'd have wanted for an executive priced room (comparing it with the much more luxurious room we'd booked the week before in Melbourne - which was cheaper). The staff were very friendly and very helpful - finding out information for us on the cinema listings and printing out directions for us. The air conditioning however was dreadful - and hardly worked at all - and given that the temperature ranged from 32C-42C whilst we were there - this was very uncomfortable." |
