"We stayed twice at this hotel. The first stay was for 3 nights. Then we came back for another night. We like the free car parking best. The bathroom/toilet was clean and the hot water excellent. The beds (this room was on level 2) were a little too soft. I think it is time they change the mattresses. The only disappointment was that the LAN cable for connecting my laptop was missing. I requested through the front desk but it never came. I eventually got a LAN cable from elsewhere but my notebook could not detect the connection. "

"Enjoyed our short stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was great and the overall service perfect, as well as the hotel facilities. Would recommend the Bayview on the Park!"

"Room service was very good. The service, quality and presentation of the food in the restaurant was excellent. Build up of rubbish and dust found under the beds whilst looking for a dropped article. Cracked glass returned with a note, with room service tray. The wine glasses were never replaced for our stay. Wine used from mini bar was not replaced for two days. As a consequence we were overcharged. A very enjoyable stay overall with excellent facilities. Free car parking provided, was an excellent bonus."

"We were booked to arrived at your hotel on the 1st January 2008, we had not been previously told that we couldn't book in until 3p.m. instead of 2p.m. as it turned out we didn't get into our room until well after 4p.m.(half the day gone), while we waited we had a few drinks at the bar, the drinks were warm and I heard the people at the next table complain of this as well, I know its the "in" thing to do to only half fill a glass of wine but I hadn't even finished my half when it gotten take away, I did complain about this and was given another one, a bit of help with our luggage would have been appreciated as well. I don't like complaining but we were disappointed, the room was fine, it was lovely and clean, hanging around waiting to get into our room was the most annoying thing of all. Thand you"

"Generally speaking, the room is ok, location is near to the city. "

"My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and thought the horel was great. We had a great view from our room over the park. The service in the hotel was excellent. The hotel was in a great location with the tram just a short walk away. There were a few eating places and a small convenience store close by. We would definitely stay there again"

"As two women traveling alone in a very large city, we were surprised that your hotel was listed as being in Darling Harbour. We arrived late at night, needed a bite to eat and ventured out that evening to find Darling Harbour. We were lost twice and given the wrong directions once. If I had know that you were in China Town I would not have agreed to stay there. I do believe you should let people know that you are in a dark, lower class neighborhood and especailly women. traveling alone!!! The hotel was clean, expensive for Eco travelers. and the only person we asked for directions was totally unable to help us but offere questionable advise> Two 70 year old women"

"This hotel was absolutely perfect for us! We needed a twin room and they were happy to upgrade us to a twin with double beds upon request and at no extra charge. The restaurant was fairly expensive but the food was tremendous and you could buy cheaper bar snacks which were just as nice if you didn't want to splash out on a la carte. The only drawback was the location, a bit too far to walk to the city, but only about ten/fifteen minutes on a tram, which were very frequent during the day although less so in the evening. We had the pool and spa to ourselves most days!"

"good size room, good value for money. near to tram stop to get to city or beach. restaurant and bar at hotel but no others nearby. nice little cafe nearby open for breakfast."

"Very pleased with the facilities at Bayview On The Park. The outdoor pool and spa area is superb and accompanied by the nearby Bar area that provides excellent food at very reasonable prices ensures the stay is an enjoyable one. Views from the rooms across Albert Park Lake and Port Phillip Bay are lovely. Excellent hotel for the very affordable rates!"
