Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
The Como hotel is located on trendy Chapel Street with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Downtown is easily accessible via a 10 minute tram ride. The staff at the hotel is incredibly helpful, giving valuable advice and making arrangements about restaurants, sights, transportation etc. The decor of the hotel is tasteful modern, and our room was very quiet. I have travelled a great deal, and this one of my most pleasant stays at a hotel.

"Loved the rooms--thought they were very spacious and modern-- but found the lobby a bit worn and leaving much to be desired...The location was good for clothes shopping but I would much rather be in the CBD next time where there is a braoder range of shopping and galleries and life and such...The cinema next door was fantastic!!! "If you prefer a slightly smaller boutique hotel in a great area this is the one. Ideal for couples who want to explore the shopping, cafe lifestyle of Chapel Street. The only drawback was the shower performance...it simply dripped out and took 20 minutes to wash! maybe it was just a problem with the bedroom suite that I happened to get. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel....keep an eye out for specials as the normal rates are $$$$"

"Wonderful location, 2 blocks from the train station and on chapel, which a lot of interesting and good restaurant. Giant bathtub with a menu of special baths that room service will draw for you on an hour's notice. I liked the Gentleman's Bath with a Brandy and cigar. I would stay here again. I got the best price and an upgrade by booking with this website."

"This is superb place to stay, understated with friendly ambience and simply a delight. This is crowded with tennis stars during the Australian open and the favourite of many of the pop stars that visit Melbourne. We wanted some thing close to the famous Chapel St shopping strip, close to the city just 10 minutes by courtesy limo, close to fine dining and of course we wanted to be pampered without paying a fortune. Chapel Street is a great place to shop!"
