Hotel Review posted by Nicolas Jorger, Australia in March 2003

European Grandeur is superbly exhibited at the All Season Premier Grand Hotel. This swish hotel comprises very generously proportioned suites, many of which are split over 2 levels and the décor is simple elegance. Ultra comfortable suites all have kitchens, spacious bathrooms and high ceilings. The heated indoor pool and spa are just wonderful and offer a relaxing spot to hideaway. Café Grand provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and 24 hour room service, whilst the fine dining section serves dinner 7 nights a week. Situated close to city attractions, a short walk will take you to Shopping, the Aquarium, Crown Casino and more, with the free city circle tram out the front.

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel. As this was probably the 6th or 7th time we have stayed there we are obviously happy with the hotel. The only thing I could critise would be that you have to pay parking fee every time you wish to use your car. I think that one parking fee should be available for your stay."

"What a great place to stay, all the old charm of yesterday coupled with all the modern facilities of today. Many special memories came flooding back, of this building when it was Victorian Railways Head office, as I worked there for many years. The impressive stair case in the middle of the hotel has been restored to it's best. They don't make hotels like this any more. Just Great!"

"Excellent choice if you are there for more than a few days. Full kitchen, etc. However - if you are not a polar bear and hail from a warmer clime, bring an electric blanket during southern winter! The rooms are a bit cool! Tram service at the front door. Casino within walking distance to get rid of that pesky extra cash."

"I'll recommend to a friend since it's like the interior and the design of the room are quite particular. I checked in a suite which has a living room on lower floor and the bathroom and bedroom on the upper floor. A lot of space inside the room. You feel like staying home. But my room was facing Flinders Street which is quite noisy."

"Great hotel. Wonderful old world style ambience. A business centre would be great, so I could have access to email."
