I think the Grand Mecure On Swanston is in a great location.Close to shops. trams, the river , markets and most tourists kinds of things. it is also cnetral for business as well.
The staff were very helpful and certainly went out of their way to be friendly and accomadating in every way!
I would recommend this hotel to all first time visitors, as it puts you where you need to be to enjoy the beautiful city of melbourne !
