Stayed one night at the Travel Lodge 31st May 2007 and could not fault it. Excellent value, excellent location, our room was spotlessly clean with fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery and a lot quieter than being in the main thoroughfare. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and the next time we stay in the city we will certainly stay there again.

| "My room was a good size. Having a microwave and plates was handy considering the price didn't include breakfast. The position of the hotel was excellent - being only a short walk to the Bourke St Mall and to the Melbourne conference and exhibition centre. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in in Melbourne this was good value." |

| "Our overall stay was good as the location of the hotel was perfect ans within walking distance to eateries, shopping areas and CBD. The only thing is that the bathroom is rather small and a bit tight if you have small children. However, overall the hotel is well-kept and clean. One consideration is that if you drive, there is an underground car park available but it charges a flat fee per day. It however disallows multiple entries within the day and is charged on a per entry basis. " |
