| "Excellent location next to King's Park and a short walk to Swan River jetty and city centre. CAT system is brilliant for getting around to explore city. Easy train access to Freemantle and Cottesloe for days out and the Freemantle Doctor is a neccessity rather than a luxury for keeping cool. " |

| "The main problem with this hotel is the location. Although it is perfectly located near to the city centre, it is built right next to a freeway and all the room s on one side of the hotel look out over this busy road. We were first allocated a room with a road view but the traffic noise was so bad when arrived (at 4pm on a sunday)that we requested a room change. Staff were most acoomodating with this and our new room was much quieter. Although the rooms were generally a good size the layout made them feel quite cramped and small." |

| "We (all 5 of us) had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and would recommend The Emerald to friends and family. The hotel is central to many tourist spots. Our only disappointment/issue was with the car park - very tight spaces made it a struggle to park. Breakfast was excellent. How lovely to be able to open a bedroom window - (after touring for 4 weeks!). Thank you." |

| "The place was tucked in a corner of downtown and Subiaco. Except for the noise coming from the highway next to the hotel (depends on which room but wasn't that bad), it was hassle free and chilled place. My room had a small kitchen and eating area which was nice. Gym facility was poor. I highly recommend this place. " |
