| "Extremely good location for access to the Freeways and to North Bridge/Subiaco. Close to the shops, restaurants, etc. My only disappointment relates to the incredibly thin mattresses which pose as beds which offer absolutely no back support. Definitely overdue for replacement. Otherwise, a great value for money Perth hotel." |

| "Very pleasant staff helpful and polite. Nice room which was clean and spacious.
The only down side being noise from a neighbouring building site and revellers on a Saturday night!" |

| "This hotel is quite ok but it is across the road from the new Perth Arena which is being built. The workers start up at 7 am so dont expect a sleep in!!" |

| "I was very pleasantly suprised at the room size. The
staff were very helpful in giving me directions in how to get around Perth as I had never been there before. They made sure my shuttle bus was there to pick me up on leaving, when it was running late they checked to make sure it was still coming, and kept me informed of what the situation was with the delay. If I ever get the opportunity to come back I would certainly stay again and I would recommend others to stay." |

| "The Citigate Hotel has a fantastic location within a few minutes of both the main train and bus terminals and being on the edge of the CBD.
The place was probably quite prestigious when first opened (1970s?) but now looks a bit tired and could really do with a good makeover! My bedroom was a good size, with a clean and comfy bead. The bathroom, to be honest was a bit on the dingy side. However, it was also extremely reasonable at £66 per night.
My only complaint was a room service meal I had - those used to travelling in Australia will know that food there is usually very high quality and exceptional value for money compared to the UK! I ordered a steak, which took over and hour to get to my room even though I was promised it within 30 mins, it was cold, over cooked and as tough as old shoe leather!
So by all means stay, but don't eat there not matter how tired you are on the first night! There are loads of nice restaurants within easy walking distance, however!

| "This was our first visit to Perth and we found our stay at the Grand Chancellor perfect for the type of holiday we had planned.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Perth's bus terminal and train station and the free CAT bus stops outside the hotel. The main shopping area and sights/attractions are also easily accessible from the hotel.
The room we stayed in was comfortable and was cleaned every day. We found the staff very helpful and would defiantly stay at the hotel again the next time we are in Perth." |

| "I made a reservation on triple size room, but when i arrived the hotel, my room was just only normal standard room. And i have to wait for nearly 4 hours to get roller bed which was not comfortable at all!! Hotel staffs are not very well professional on their job roles but their best effort of trying to serve us were appreciatied." |
