Service good, but the Hyatt is the first hotel along the whole stretch. Too far to walk to town & CBD, but too near to hop onto the cab, though the bus ride is free into and outto the Hyatt.
Go for the Regency Club-type room - more expensive = but it buys you a well-stock bar which includes Aussie wines, beers, Cuppacinno, Lattes, snacks & "tapas" the WHOLE DAY up till 9pm - COMPLIMENTARY. (Unfortunately for me, I only knew about this only on the 3rd day out of my 4-day stay). Have a cuppa anytime of the day in this exclusive bar overlooking the picture perfect Swan River. Insist on the riverview room, otherwise its a downer (I got a "city" view earlier)
