| "The hotel reception was very spacious, clean and welcoming. The room was also reasonably spacious, clean and the air con and room fan were superb bearing in mind the heat outside. I thought it was a lovely touch to include a guest laundry service - so many hotels charge dry cleaning prices, so being able to do your washing and drying at low cost was great. The venue was much further out of port douglas than I expected but not dreadful - there is an excellent shuttle service running practically 24 hours a day. The gym was a huge disappointment, but at least there was a gym. The sunbeds were a little too packed in like sardines for my liking." |

| "Staff friendly and good service. Room excellent & very clean. Setting very pretty but a bit overgrown with rain forest. Location very near to 4 mile beach - excellent. Only complaint additinal charges for room safe and also transport to town." |

| "We had a triple room here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious as was the bathroom - but the cleanliness was let down by hairs in the shower plug hole when we arrived - ugh! We ate in both restaurants and they were both good. The dining area around the pool and forest in the centre of the hotel was excellent. Free car park and regular shuttle bus into Port Douglas." |

| "Lovely hotel in Tropical North Queensland. Our room was a nice size, clean and nice bed linens.
You really need to take one of the two pay shuttles into town, as it is a long walk. Beautiful 4 mile beach easy distance from hotel. Great Cockatoo "Bozo" who greets all. Only suggestion is better breakfast buffet selections and quantity control. If there had been more variety and lower cost selections on other menus would have eaten at the hotel more and not taken the bus into town (reservations suggested at most places). You can preview all menus outside restaurants while in town. Shops close up around 5:30. Great Sunday market in town." |

| "We had a 4 night stay at the Tree Tops and from the moment we arrived had an unforgetable time. The Food, Service, and ammenities were perfect. Being a short shuttle or cab ride away from downtown was no problem at all with the shuttle seemingly coming by the hotel every 5 minutes. The short stroll to amazing 4 mile beach was scenic and only took about 3 minutes. The only complaints we had was that the service at the Outback restaraunt one night was not the best and that the towel rack in our bathroom was a little brokes. Other than that we would definately stay there again on our next trip to Port Douglas and highly recomend it. " |

| "Front desk staff were not as welcoming on arrival as we had found elsewhere in Australia. We found the towels in the bathroom on arrival had been used and not changed, shower gel was not supplied (as had been the case everywhere else) and only one hand towel was supplied. Pool was excellent and restuarant and bar staff very helpful. The lass on the tour desk was also very helpful. The hotel is about two miles+ out of Port Douglas and we were pleased we had a hire car, although mini buses did run about every half hour into PD although this was Aus$10 return." |

| "This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful. The scenery was spectaular, built into a rainforest with easy transport links to town or other attractions. The staff and facilities are excellent. All are very helpful and do take time to help you. Tours and attractions can easily be booked from the hotel. Only downfall I would say is the lack of vegetarian options on the evening meal. In fact the evening meals were a big let down, but as there are many restaurants in town, it makes only a slight blemish on the stay. 100m from a beach. Breakfast with the birds, Great Barrier Reef, four mile beach. Anyone going to Port Douglas should stay here." |

| "We stayed here for 3 nights and we did not want to leave. Hotel is lovely. Hotel staff very helpfull and they made us feel really welcome. Lovely pool, great food. Four mile beach is a 2 minute walk away from hotel. The only down fall about the hotel is that it is not close to the centre of Port Douglas. There is a shuttle bus service to the town but unfortunatly you have to pay to use it. We had a great time here and would throughly recommend it." |
