You know the feeling of having been travelling for a long time, a bit nervous of what to expect of the next place visiting, arrive and discover that it is perfect, warm and make you relax instantly? Well, that was exactly what happened when we arrived at the Pink Flamingo. It is highly recommended for it´s cozyness and as extra bonus they have loads of dvd´s to watch on a rainy day. Thank you for a lovely stay, Pink Flamingo!

| "One of the best hotels I’ve been staying in! it's run by an extremely friendly lesbian couple. I was staying in a garden villa with my girlfriend. There is just 12 villas which gives you very intimate feeling. The pool and bbq area is great. You can swim at night looking at the stars, make your own steak in bbq area, borrow books or dvd’s from a little library. The villa and outside bath and tropical garden was everything you can dream of to unwind and spent romantic holiday with the one you love. Highly recommended!!!!" |

| "A great place to stay if you prefer to be away from the crowds. The hotel is a small operation that offers good accommodation and very helpful and friendly service. The gardens and pool area are excellent. You often find that you have the pool area to yourself which is absolutely great. I will definitely be returning to the Pink Flamingo on my next visit to Port Douglas. " |
