Ibis Sydney Airport

"The rooms size is barely adequate. The bed is very comfortable. The price is competitive but we noted that the Asia Rooms tariff was not the best available. Location is excellent and that (along with the ease of parking) is the overwhelming reason we would use the place again."

"The room was surely adequate, although a bit tight once we had our suitcases open. The bathroom was fabulous -- so clean and bright. The bedside lamps were good. We chose the Ibis because it is close to the airport and it was only a one-night stay. Unfortunately the only place to eat was the downstairs dining room which was a bit noisy, the food was poor, and the prices high. It would have been expensive to have to feed a family and I'm not sure there was anything on the menu kids would like."

"VERY convenient for domestic and international airports. We stayed so we could go to an early flight. Parking is charged for ($12) which was less than the airport shuttle so we dropped the hire car in the morning of our flight. Petrol station nearby was mapped out for us. Staff were very efficient at the desk and seemed to be able to multitask unflappably and proactively - good at anticipating next question or calculation (as in case of our possible evening return of hire car. Really felt they knew their jobs and were very used to dealing with airport-bound tourists. The room was the smallest of any on our tour, but we expected that, it IS after all basically an airport hotel. Beds were one queen (just) and one single, so we unromantically used both for extra comfort. Bathroom is a plastic 'pod' with single sink, toilet and very decent sized shower. Very clean and uncramped for one person at a time. So for a hotel specifically designed as a stopover for flying - late in, late snack, early out - it was absolutely fine, but not a base for touring around central Sydney. If I was going out on an early flight I'd happily use it again. Very decent value at AsiaRooms discounted price!"

"The hotel was overall ok, the shower was good after a 9 hour flight. The internet charges is extremely high. The room is very clean and the bed is wonderful."

"Very basic services but convenient if you don't want to stay in the city. Good breakfast and reasonable value."
