| "When my Husband & I arrived in the hotel we discovered the remote control for the t.v missing, so reported it at Reception. They were very helpful & as they did not have another remote, they changed the t.v in our room. However, on our last night (7 nights later ) I found the remote from the first t.v under our bed ! It doesnt say much for the cleanliness of the rooms. We could not fault the helpfullness of the staff on Reception, especially Jamar. He was very friendly, helpfull & polite. " |

| "This hotel could use an upgrade. While the room itself was clean, the furniture and bathroom could benefit from some refurbishing and updating. A little bit of paint and some pictures on the walls would make the room much warmer and less depressing." |

| "I stay in this Hotel for 6 nights in February 2008. The facilities and service of it are quite poor. I've changed the room for two times. The air conditioner was not work, we waited for a long time for the staff to fix it. The worst thing is that when I returned back to my room the next day, I found my own electric kettle was lost. I don't know whether the housekeeper threw away or took it. After negotiations, the hotel only agreed to compensate a new one to us without apology. Besides, it is very noisy if your room is next to the Old Lift. Other than the location, it is a quite bad hotel. " |

| "- Top bed sheet so threadbare I could feel the blanket.
- dust under dining table. When moved table - obvious area under table rarely vacuumed.
- Different floor levels between living area and bedroom alcove - half step is dangerous and should at least be clearly indicated. Going to the bathroom from the bed it is so easy to stub toe and fall.
- Light switc in bed alcove in an inconvenient position.
- Better categorised as " Back Packers" accommodation." |

| "The service from the front office personnel Mr Jamal was excellent. The junior front desk staff were courteous and friendly.Unfortunately the more senior ones lacked this quality as they did not even know how to acknowledge with a simple hello or good morning and we were staying at the hotel for 5 days.

| "Location perfect, bathroom good size, shower strong. But room we had was 223 and probably in back of service alley, we were woke each morning about 4am by hydraulics of garbage collection or deliveries. Noise comes through loud as windows not double glazed. Toilet is small not even a hook to hang the handtowel. However for what we paid and location it is good price, just don't get room 223. Coffeeshop is good." |

| "This is our second stay at Aarons. The first was in 1997. This time the room was quite small but adequate. The staff were very friendly. The roof patio was ideal for an evening drink if you brought your own and could be cleaned up to be really nice. Great views from it but it needed new chairs and tables. We did not see many other guests use it.
The Cafe Nine connected to the hotel was fantastic for coffee and breakfast. The staff there, Lisa and Emilia were really great and I looked forward to seeing them each morning.
If you would like some pictures of the hotel and cafe I would be happy to e mail them.
Sincerely " |
