| "Small but clean rooms. Supportive staff - moved us to another room immediately when problem with lamps near bed detected. Good central location. Poor breakfast possibility.

| "We had a problem with our booking because we forgot to take our internet confirmation & didn't realise the booking was still under Gullivers name. This caused confusion at the busy Reception.
Once the room is paid for I do not see the booking could not have been updated with our name." |

| "Location - pretty good. A small mall right next to it with various Asian eateries, an ice-cream joint, hot dog stall and Starbarks. Market City for shopping and Paddy's Market is just across the road. To our surprise, it took us less than 5 mins on foot to get to Darling Harbour. To Paddington Market, The Rocks, Fish Market - we managed to walk from the hotel averaging 30 = 40 mins. It's at the corner of George St which, a little further down, is parallel to Pitt St - a major shopping belt.
Service = just efficient. Not friendly, no greetings even when there're no customers at the counter and the counter staff don't greet - unless you greet them first. Had conflicting info - asked about arrangement by taxi to the airport - one said we can just flag one along the road while another staff (thank goodness we met this one) - helped us call for a taxi.
Room - pretty small esp the bathroom. For 1 to 2 persons who are out of the room most of the time, it's fine. However, whenever a neighbour returns to the room, it sounds like someone's opening our door.
Will consider staying there again if i cannot find another hotel at similar rate and location." |
