We have stayed at the Carlton Crest twice now, it is a well priced hotel for one or two night stays or a quick overnight stay if you have something on in Sydney. It is not a hotel to stay at if you are looking for complete luxury, or a long holiday to get away from it all. The parking is good, but really confusing on the first instance of how to get into the hotel. The staff in the parking station are quite rude, the hotel staff however are very helpful and nice. No mini bar in the rooms, just a machine on each floor to buy snacks from- moderate room, but clean and well priced. Would stay again, actually just about to make another booking for another overnight stay.

| "The room was huge but the housekeeping was a little poor with bits of stuff (I can't say what it was but it was a bit sticky) left on the carpet.
Location was excellent as the hotel is within a short walking distance to Chinatown, about a 15-20 minute walk to Darling Harbour and to the city." |

| "The hotel is located near Paddy's market and central station; however, there is no gym and the swimming pool is quite small. The service is just average. " |

| "Located away from most of the "must see" locations but none the less a convenient stop at a some what lower price than other hotels. Near China Town and on major bus routes to the harbour areas." |

| "The hotel is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station and Chinatown.
But you need to use the exit near Broadway, otherwise there is a fair bit of walking to do.
It's not close to the shopping malls, but you can always catch a bus to go down George Street.
The room rate is very competitive for what it offers.
We got a good sized room. In fact it is bigger than some 5 star hotels that I have stayed in Sydney before.
On the downside there are no bell boys at the entrance.
We had to "haul" our luggages up the front steps to the hotel lobby.
We later found out that there's a "hidden" path that leads from the hotel to the entrance of the adjoining carpark where you can then reach the street level.
