I stayed here alone for 4 nights in January 2007. The location was great - close to Darling Harbour - though a bit of a walk into the centre of the city. The room and bathroom were a good size and more than adequate. Tea and coffee making facilities good. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I had requested a smoking room - there were none available, but the receptionist suggested she find me a room with a balcony (v. small!), which she did. The pool was disappointing small (not sure how they take those photos!) and tepid! The bar was uninspiring, more a place to rendez vous with friends rather than somewhere to spend an evening. The restaurant appeared to be closed for the duration of my visit. However, all in all I would definately consider staying here again and considered it good value for money (considering prices at other similar Sydney hotels).

| "The room was huge but the housekeeping was a little poor with bits of stuff (I can't say what it was but it was a bit sticky) left on the carpet.
Location was excellent as the hotel is within a short walking distance to Chinatown, about a 15-20 minute walk to Darling Harbour and to the city." |

| "The hotel is located near Paddy's market and central station; however, there is no gym and the swimming pool is quite small. The service is just average. " |

| "Located away from most of the "must see" locations but none the less a convenient stop at a some what lower price than other hotels. Near China Town and on major bus routes to the harbour areas." |

| "The hotel is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station and Chinatown.
But you need to use the exit near Broadway, otherwise there is a fair bit of walking to do.
It's not close to the shopping malls, but you can always catch a bus to go down George Street.
The room rate is very competitive for what it offers.
We got a good sized room. In fact it is bigger than some 5 star hotels that I have stayed in Sydney before.
On the downside there are no bell boys at the entrance.
We had to "haul" our luggages up the front steps to the hotel lobby.
We later found out that there's a "hidden" path that leads from the hotel to the entrance of the adjoining carpark where you can then reach the street level.
