"I stayed here in June 2004 on my own. Although the hotel is in the "Red Light District" of Sydney, I saw nothing that might stop a family from staying here. My room was comfortable with fridge, hair dryer etc. The breakfast was brilliant and the evening dinner beautifully cooked and served. Even the "Eat Inn" meals, which could be ordered and sent to your room was of excellent quality. I'm planning to return to this hotel with my family next year."

"The major advantage and disadvantage of this hotel is the neighborhood. You can get the subway to downtown practically right outside the door. But the surrounding businesses have a hefty share of porn shops, backpacker hostels and bars. The streets outside the hotel are crowded on weekends, but mostly with drunks and hookers. The hotel itself is okay."

"There are better places to stay in Sydney than this. The location is reasonably central but the area is grim. There are no balconies, at least not in the room we stayed and the views are not so good. The rooms however are fine in a Holiday Inn way.You can definetly do better than this though in Sydney with all that sea and harbour."
