"The rooms you get on Asiarooms.com are there cheap ones on a side section overlooking a street. They are small but functional. The room was VERY noisy on saturday night if you have the window open with young people till 3 am yahooing in the streets. We slept very badly. The bed was small - only double bed which I find for the price not acceptable. The room was quite modern. The water was not hot in the bath or shower (just warm) which was very annoying. We received the extra pillows and shower gel we requested no problem. There is no place in the shower to put soaps etc so its very awkward when showering. The bath is small. Long hairs found in the bath etc which I found disturbing so not that well cleaned. Didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment. The lifts were being renovated with cardboard all over them which was not the best. Wouldn't stay here again in a hurry in these rooms at this price. "

"The hotel was perfect for our christmas stay. Our ocean view room was huge and had a balcony overlooking Manly beach. The rooftop pool was a little cold, but the spa was great to relax in. The hotel bar was ungoing a revamp, but building work did not interfere with our stay. We would definately stay at this hotel again. "

"We were upgraded to a King Sized room on the 6th floor. There are 7 floors altogether. We had a magnificent view from 601. We paid for a Manly view, which is what the balcony was facing but there was a large window facing the side of the building which looked towards the Manly Beach. It was lovely. The bed was Excellent, latex i think. Very comfortable. The size of the room was spacious. The Bathroom could do with an upgrade but was clean and functional. The Air-conditioning was fantastic as it was very hot when we were there but not noisy like some places. We parked in the underground carpark which was secure, it cost $18- or there is Valet if prefered. The lift was small and the other lift was closed as they were refurbishing. The staff were very nice and easy to understand. We were very happy with our stay and found it central to everything in Manly."

"The position and value for money is not likely to be exceeded in Manly"

"A typical modern chain hotel. The rooms were OK and the service good. What makes this hotel is it's location on Manly Beach. The hotel initially put us in a room in their new annexe and these rooms had no balcony. When we asked to move to another room the hotel were very obliging and moved us the following day. There are really three grades of room - ocean view, balcony with Manly view and non balcony in the annexe worth rembering"

"The room is pretty good & comfortable, the environment is fine. It's convenient as close to Manly beaches & shopping town. Hotel should have told customer carpark to be charged when check in, let customer decide whether parking in or not. I believe this is a kind of service as customer to be informed of such thing. May be free parking included in the room bookings as so hard to find carspace outside. "

"This hotel was superb and the roof-top swimming pool was a real luxury. The staff were very friendly and happy to help in any way they could. The room was perfect with a balcony that overlooked the beach. We spent the evening enjoying the view and wishing we could stay forever."

" There was lound music playing till 2am directly below us. Pool and Spa are too samll i found for such a large hotel, there was never a time when the sauna was free. Other than that it was great, nice friendly staff and comfy rooms cheers"
