| "My son and I were very happy with all employees as they were very professional and courtious at all times. I was over whelmed when a new room was found for my son and I when I notified the receptionist that there was a leaking pipe in the bathroom on the 6th room that we had booked.
Thank you to all staff and to your restruant staff for an enjoyable stay.
Kind regards
Caron Howard" |

| "Excellent location downtown Chinatwon area, train station, walking distance darling harbour area. Only negative is when you check in with the voucher, they try to sell you an upgrade to a "newer" (i.e. more expensive) room." |

| "Great location near Central Station..can walk to most downtown locations.
My only real problem was the bed....VERY soft with no support at all. My back is still hurting me from staying there." |

| "The hotel was undergoing renovations. It should have closed for a week and got them done quickly, rather than trying to complete while guests were there, over a longer period of time. It was a little dangerous, unsightly and inconvenient.
The entire hotel is outdated, aside from the rooms that have been renovated. It was like stepping into a time warp and going back to the 50s. Brick walls both interior and exterior, throughout all rooms. Bathroom units were getting pretty tired. Our bathroom ceiling leaked - and when we called the front desk they said they would come and check it out but we didnt hear back from them at all. The air con was antiquated - so it was really loud, and it was always either too cold or not cold enough!
Breakfast was in a bedroom! Fairly standard hotel food (nothing flash), but poorly organised - there was never any cutlery available unless you asked for it. I prepaid 26 for breakfast, but if you just turned up for breakfast without prepaying it was only 16.50! Surely you should have a price advantage if you prepay?!
Overall I thought the hotel was overpriced and antiquated. Don't be fooled by their swish website.

| "The location of this hotel is really good. The room and facility is really old. There is snack bar, but the price list was not in the room. There is only one reception and he/she may not service you on time. The price is comparative expensive compare with quality.
However, I have seen the renovation room from picture which looks really good, but you have to pay more AUD 40 to upgrade.
It's ur choice." |

| "I only stayed for 3 nights but was unable to get into the hotel on the sceond night as my pass key would not work. Lucky there was a security man there to let me in. On both night 2 and 3 I was locked out of my hotel room and had to return to reception to get a new pass key on both occasions. This was very inconvenient to say the least. I have travelled all around the world and have used pass keys before but I have never had this problem before. I noticed on my second night that another lady was also locked out of the hotel so it wasn't only me that experienced this problem." |

| "The pictures of the hotel failed to reflect the true current condition of the hotel. The hotel room was outdated, had broken faciities, poor lighting, lack of basic items (such as shampoo, soap and toothpaste). Reception was unhelp and failed to even tell me where the nearest bus stop was. Tourist phamlets in the foyer were outdated. Overall I was very disappointed. The pool and sauna was the worst, with broken plastic chairs, litter on the ground and ripped outdoor carpet. This hotel needs bulldozing now! If you book here, you will deeply regret it. I would have preferred to stay in a backpackers.
Asiarooms.com however was perfect and I would be more than happy to book again with them next time!" |

| "The room was spacious and the decor cosy but the carpeted floor was persistently dusty. The quilt cover and chairs were somewhat frayed. The walls allow conversations from the adjacent rooms to be heard which might not be ideal for honeymooners! The pool was not working which was a pity as this was the reason I why I booked the hotel.
On the other hand, the location is rather good since it is rather central. The level of service was all right. Kudos to one of the front desk staff who tried to contact the airport bus company for over an hour to confirm my return trip." |
