| "Just telling about what happened to us : coming back to the hotel after visiting friends at 9pm on Monday the 9th, we passed the boom gate and parked our car at the only available place, opposite the back-packing hotel. The place was well lit.
The following morning, we were woken up by the reception to be advised that it seemed that our car had been interfered with. We went down immediately and indeed, the left back window of our car was totally broken. There was nothing to be stolen and no other damages were done, no vandalism, nothing. Our car is a modest Pulsar which really has nothing to attract attention.
We did not go to the police. Previous experience in another circumstance taught us that the police rarely bothers with such "minor incidents".
The staff at the reception commiserated with us but what could they do? We'll leave it to you to decide.
Although it spoiled our stay somehow, the Medina remains for us a very good hotel.

| "Excellent location next to the Central Station. Easy for business travellers to come from airport and to get anywhere in Sydney area.
Small gymnasium, sauna and pool area in heart of the city. Possibility to leave luggages for a day before flying out in the evening and have a quick shower and change cloths before long international flight. And the cheapest studio room is only $100 AUD/day !
We will definitely use this hotel in the future (if only available, as so many other are doing the same)." |

| "We relied on public transportation, so the location, adjacent to the Central Train Station was perfect." |

| "Medina rooms are of a good standard, especially the larger apartments. However, the off-site restaurant is in fact a noisy bar/bistro and not really suitable to a business clientele. Also, there were problems with non-functional facilities - attempting to iron a shirt blew out the fuses (twice!), while another guest and I both complained about television remote controls. Staff were quite helpful, howeve.r" |

| "The hotel is tastefully decorated, great bathroom
comfortable bed, friendly staff
the only drawback was that the pool heating was not on
and the outside hot tub was freezing. to be fair we did not mention this to the hotel at time of stay
but they obviously do not check daily.
but otherwise a good choice." |

| "A very Stylish & comfortable Hotel which lived up to expectation, except for the pool & hot tub located at the rear ,These were unheated & cold.
To be fair we did not complain at the time, but a Hotel daily inspection would have uncovered this.
Still a Hotel we would recomend." |

| "Medina Executive at Central is not just another architectural success. Recently renovated in keeping with it?s historic past combined with slick modern finishes, food and facilities. Rooms are impressive with modern and truly comfortable amenities - the swimming pool is a nice surprise for a city centre hotel. Loft apartments are split level with massive windows ensuring plenty of light. Extremely quiet considering it?s next to Central Railway Station and guests cannot hear a sound - even at peak times. Chinatown is nearby, along with pretty much everything else in the city heart and transport could not be more plentiful. Simply ideal for a short or long stay and the restaurant serves contemporary cuisine all day." |
