We staid two nights in this hotel and it was quite allright. You have a seperate room and bedroom which is conviniance after your walks throughout Sydney.
Our room had a kitchette but this seems to be removed because all the drawers where closed.
The hotel is refurbished and it looks very modern.
Location is quite OK, and only 15 minutes walking from train station "Museum", but there are also buses just around the corner.
A lot of pubs in the area and there is one just accross the street where they have nice pies and beers.
Internet in the hotel is quite expensive but just on the way towards the hotel (from Oxford St) there is very small MALL where the internet is at cheap prices.
In this small mall is also a medium size supermarket for the daily things and drinks and snacks.

| "our room was booked and paid for 3 weeks ago and we couldnt book in because booking not found in their system even though we had receipts. they then tried to relocate us after some nonesense regarding our room being trashed by previous occupents. we said no and they relocated someone else. Im guessing overbooked due to rugby game on that weekend. Despite all this room fantastic, great value,quiet, clean and spacious, close to facilities and transport and we walked into sydney (downhill) every day, very nice, very easy. Staff fantastic, obliging and overall very accomodating." |

| "It was my very first time staying in this hotel & I'm glad I did! It looks like a hostel or BnB from the outside but inside this is NOT the case. It looks very clean, welcoming & the staff are quite friendly.
I enjoyed the restaurant food which was very tasty- esp the mash potato! (You'll have to try it for yourself if you haven't already. Just perfect!) & I'm a chef, I know what good mash should taste like. It's suitable for anyone really & quite reasonably priced esp for it's location which is just out of town.
(About a few blocks away) I took a taxi to & from. But if you know your way around the area... you could prob take a bus which is just down the road. I requested an express room, which was the cheapest one they had & musta been bumped up to a better one as I was told that the express rooms are on level 1 & 2 (where the pool is). So I was plesantly surprised when I was informed that the room I was to stay in was on the 11th floor. And what a sight it was. Very elegant looking room upon entry with a King sized bed as requested, a nice modern looking couch, table, mini wardrobe, & a nice fujitsu room heater was a BONUS. Perfect for winter travelling. The bathroom was clean & matched the room - with it's modern decor. My only complaint was that they only gave me one bar of soap for the 2 days which didn't really last all that long, as it was for the shower & basin. Aswell as the restaurant being closed on Sundays. But that's not really a big deal. Another thing to possib look at is having a room card slot outside the fire exit doors, bcz on the first night I arrived the alarm went off which was a false alarm. Thank God. Although the hotel has 3 lifts, it might have taken less time for others guests to get back to their rooms via the stairs. Overall I'd say this hotel gave very good value for money & would be inclined to stay here again should I return to Sydney! " |
