Our stay was during renovations and with only one lift running made it a bit difficult.Overall it was a nice hotel to stay in . No problems with the room ,though be careful with the showers as they were very hard to mix and more times then not you were having a cold shower or a scolding hot shower.The reception staff did not give off an air of friendliness and always seemed to be watching each other . when we ordered our taxi for the airport we nearly lost it as the driver told us a female receptionist told him we had already left .There is no need to book the breakfast through the web site as there is an a lacarte menu giving other options.If you do be careful as the asian lady who runs it watches everyone and what they take.This would be a very strong for me not to return to this hotel.Porterhouse house pub to the left of the hotel entrance is a nice place to eat . Also as Oxford street is a 2 min walk you have a lot of choices . Location was good 10 min max walk to central station ,mono rail and metro station.

| "the hotel was in a central location to many of sydney's attractions.
the room was clean and of a good size for a family of four.
Facilities including restuarant was of good value and standard.

| "The front desk staff are very helpful and pleasant. They made sure that guests are satisfied. The evening shift staff named Eussis (spelling?) was wonderful, she went extra miles to help me with directions, places to go, etc.. I definitely stay at this hotel for my next visit to Sydney. The hotel location is convenient to Darling Harbour (20 minutes walk), Chinatown (10 minute walk), Central Station (15 minute walk), public bus (5 minutes walk). The Surry Hills Police Department is directly across the street from this hotel. " |

| "THE HOTEL WAS NOT ONLY PERFECTLY LOCATED BUT IMMACULATELY MAINTAINED. THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE. HOTEL LOCATION WAS A 15 TO 20 MINUTE WALK TO DARLING HARBOR, CHINATOWN, HYDE PARK AND CENTRAL TRAIL STATION. NEARBY EXCITING OXFORD STREET AND ITALIAN RESTAURANTS SECTION ONLY MOMENTS AWAY. ABSOLUTELY A GREAT VALUE AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.

| "A Nice and Cosy hotel situated in the CBD area making it convenient for shoppers. Furthermore, it is also easily accessible to many food outlets. The staffs are helpful and friendly. Everything is nice and acceptable except for the entry into the carpark(for people who drives to take note. The access road is winding, narrow and a little steep. Definately not recommended for drivers of "big" sedans." |

| "During the stint of our stay, the staff were very responsive to our needs especially Jeff. It is one of the hotels where you would feel secured. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time we go to Sydney. Keep the service up guys at Cambridge. Cheers." |
